30th May 2006 Windsurfing: Marazion, Station Car park Wind Direction: N-NE Wind Stength: 10-17 knots Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: A nice little session at low tide with the wind blowing striaght off shore. I had spent quite a bit of time standing in the water while Al and then Jules spent some time windsurfing on the 5.0m After they had done I went out again on my 5.8m. First run out I lost ground downwind due to too many lulls and wasn't too far off the rocks at St Michaels Mount. After that I made sure that I went out when it was blowing and soon blasted back upwind to my launch spot. Made quite a few decent runs today and some good gybes on the outside. Good fun but I was still very tired from the day before and the wind was to die down after this as the high pressure built. |
